FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
When do your sessions start? Do I have to wait to enroll?
Our sessions are four weeks in length but are designed for billing ease only. You can start classes anytime and we will simply prorate your tuition.
My child was sick and missed her class. Can I make up the class or get a credit?
We do not offer credits for missed classes unless we cancel the class due to an instructor emergency (holiday closures are not subject to a tuition credit). For the majority of our recreational classes (i.e. preschool, beginner through advanced girls, and level 2 and 3 boys), we can offer make up classes. Several of our classes have only one time slot and in those cases, we will offer a free open gym instead of a makeup.
My child has not been to class in over a month, but I just received a bill. Why am I still being charged?
We require a 30-day drop notice in order to discontinue classes. We do check attendance records, but only at the end of every session, therefore, you may have missed several classes before we are aware of your child’s absence. If you do not provide us with a 30 day notice, but have stopped attending, you will be billed for 30 days from your child’s last date of attendance and dropped from the program. We send out drop confirmations several days prior to your child’s last day of class. If you filled out the proper forms, but did not receive your confirmation, please give us a call. Forms are available at the front desk and online.
I didn’t receive a statement in the mail and yet I just received a late fee notice. What is this for?
Tuition is always due on the 1st of every month. If you do not pay by the end of business on the 10th of the month, you will be charged a late fee and will receive a statement in the mail. All first-time late fees are waived. We do not send statements in the mail; however, you can sign up for autopay with a credit card or ask to have your statement e-mailed to you each month.
Why do you require 30-days notice?
Since we do not run on enrollment sessions as other facilities might, we need advanced notice of your departure in order to appropriately plan for our classes and instructors. If you simply stop attending classes without notice, we may be holding your child's spot in a class that they no longer wish to participate in, and thus may be turning away other clients. A 30-day period also allows us the appropriate time to address any concerns you may have that are causing your departure.
What if I can’t provide 30-days notice?
You will still be billed for your final 30 days. However, if you plan on returning, we will credit your account upon return for any classes you could not attend during your final 30 days.
I turned in my drop form at the beginning of the month and paid, yet I am still being charged for additional classes. Why?
We bill according our 4-week session calendar. That means that sessions do not always run by months. You will be charged for four FULL weeks from the date of your drop request. Please check the session calendar for session start dates.
My child was injured and cannot participate in gymnastics/cheerleading for several weeks/months. What do I do?
If the injury is minor and your child is in our recreational program, we will still ask that you pay for your 30 day notice, but we will credit your account upon return. If the injury is severe or will keep your child out of gymnastics or cheerleading for 6 months or more, we will ask that you pay for the current session and cease your billing. We will not refund any classes that you didn’t take part in due to the injury.
If your child is in our team program, the injury must prevent them from doing ANY exercise at all for a period of 30 days or more in order to receive prorated tuition.
What is open gym and when is it? Open gym is a time for your child to work on his/her skills in a non-class environment. An instructor is on duty and available if your child needs help on any skill. Open gym is on Saturdays from 2-4 pm in our team gym, located at 2760 Industrial Lane. The cost is $10 per child (regardless of amount of time attended) and is limited to 25 children. Any child under 5 must have an adult with them at all times, however adults are NOT allowed on any equipment. No one will be admitted after 3:30 pm. Please pick up your children on time, as this is our last class of the day.
If you bill according to a 4-week session system and not by months, then why is tuition always due on the 1st of every month?
To maintain consistency and limit confusion, tuition is always due on the 1st of the month. This means that, at times, you will have taken 1 or 2 classes before paying for the session.
I received a statement that says my child was dropped due to non-payment. What does this mean?
After two months of non-payment, we automatically drop your child from our program. You will be sent a bill and payment in full is expected upon receipt. To re-enroll, you must call the front desk. Any accounts that are delinquent by two months are forwarded to a collection agency.
Do you close for Spring Break?
No. Our facility caters to children in several different school districts, so we do not close for Spring Break. We are open 48 weeks of the year, which amounts to twelve 4-week sessions. We close for 2 weeks in the summer, 1 week for Thanksgiving and 1 week in December that are not part of our regular sessions (meaning you are not charged for them). There are several holiday closures during the year that are part of regular sessions, and on those days, we do offer make-ups for most recreational classes.
Why are your team calendars password-protected?
We make every effort to maintain the privacy of our clients. Some families do not want outsiders aware of their child’s every day activities and information on their whereabouts.
Do you do birthday parties?
Yes. Please see our birthday party link on the homepage.
I’d like for my child to try a class. Do you offer a free trial and do I just show up?
We offer a “satisfaction guarantee” class. If you take the class and do not register, you owe us nothing. If you choose to sign up, your trial class day will be your first day of payment. We do ask that you call ahead to schedule a trial class as classes listed on the website may be full.
Do you offer gymnastics for adults?
Unfortunately, we do not have insurance coverage for adults.
My child is not enrolled in your program. Can I schedule a private lesson with one of your instructors?
Due to the time constraints of our coaching staff and in fairness to our clients, we can only offer private lessons to those enrolled in our program.
What does the yearly registration fee cover?
This fee of $40 per child or $75 for a family of 2 or more mainly covers insurance for your child(ren). The registration for team athletes is $60. This fee also covers the administrative costs of maintaining your child(ren) in our program.
